WELCOME

I decided to create a blog where I could share my knowledge and cake art from the past. I no longer bake but continue making beautiful cake art at Kim's Cottage Confections, where she makes her delicious cakes, cookies and candies. Please stop by her shop in Durham CT, or visit her at Kimscottageconfections.com
In the Archive collection you will be able to find more samples!
Please notice that all cake decorations are handmade and painted. I like to use fondant plus tylose for modeling. For painting I like food coloring/powders with some grain alcohol.
